A game to play for Girl Scout SWAP, swapping.?

I found somewhere, but didn’t bookmark, a game to exchange SWAPS, sort of like the Christmas Right/Lefty gift exchange game. A story to read while participants exchanged their swaps. Does this sound famiiar to anyone? Where can I find it? Thank so much.

If you want the Right/Left swap game, you could google “gift exchange games” or something like that–I do that about every year for our family party. Check out www.santalady.com/xmasgame/leftright.html .

If you want to do something a little different, what we’ve been doing is reading “Twas the Night Before Christmas.” I hand out cards with words from the story (ones that are repeated at least twice, like “Christmas, night, snow, St. Nick, reindeer, etc.). Then as the story is read, people grab a gift when their word is read. The way we play, after all the gifts are grabbed up, then they can steal someone else’s gift (swapping them) when their word is read.

Another thing we do occasionally is kind of like a Bingo game. Each person chooses, say, 5 numbers between 1 and 30. Then you call out numbers just like with Bingo. As a person’s number is called, they pick a gift. Then as more of their numbers are called, they can either keep what they have grabbed or swap with someone else’s.
