Where is a good, affordable retreat center within an hour of Chicago?
My sorority is having a retreat for about 60 girls over a weekend in March and we need a location. Our budget is $1000 and we’re looking for a fairly cheap place ($200-300 a night?) that will contain all of us and have a nice meeting space for activities and such. In the past, we’ve been to Camp Tuckabatchee and the Wild Rose Program Center (Girl Scout Campgrounds). Does anyone know of a possible venue? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

I’m sure if it’s snowing or there’s a good amount of snow they can supply cross country skiing, snow snowmobiling, ice skating, etc… for you and the girls.
I’m also certain any of these facilities can accommodate the amount of girls in your party by cutting the bill by a percentage, like 20% off each girl, etc…don’t be afraid to ask! ;^D
Just pack some booze for cosmos and find out who has great pizza and have fun!
