Can any one help me find bible verses that correspond with thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent?
yes these are parts of the scout law. im trying to plan an opening ceremony for my eagle scout court of honor. please help!!!
I’m working on finding some verses… I wish I could… find it…
Here is what I am thinking of “the seven virtues” on wikipedia, but I am not sure If I can find the bible verse for each one , ? for some reason, Wikipedia linked verse for the seven deadly sins, (bible based) but not for the virtues! argh.
The entire Old Testament is Reverent, one does not speak the name of “God” or “Lord” as to accidentally offend him…. It is spelled YHWH or something like that. (for real, serious, It’s also called Jehovah, sometimes,. and I’m Catholic, by the way, I guess it’s just an ancient name, is what my Fundamentalist Christian Uncle said, He is NOT Jehovah’s Witness or anything like that.)
Martyrs are brave,.. and some of the very first Christians are Martyrs… only 2 of the 12 apostles are not martyrs…
